From Marathons to Strength: How Courteney Found Confidence & Community at CJPT HQ

Meet Courteney. At 27, she’s been busy chasing the corporate ladder as a lawyer — but outside the office, she’s been chasing something else: running goals most people only dream of.

Over the past two years, Courteney worked with CJPT through online coaching and achieved incredible success:

  • Completed her first marathon at London 2024

  • Smashed her PB at Manchester Marathon, cutting her time from 4 hours 20 to 4 hours flat

  • Took on the challenge of a 50km ultra marathon

The Challenge After Success

After achieving so much in the running world, Courteney found herself in a different battle:

  • Training started to feel lonely without in-person support

  • She wanted more immediate feedback in her sessions

  • She still felt uneasy with strength training, unsure of technique and progress
